This weekend,we found Huff's How to Lie with Statistics in a used book store and started reading it with our son. Looks like a great read, and is a good reminder to scrutinize what the "numbers" say.
The book is written in a light and breezy style, but accessible for bright upper elementary and up (even non-statistical adult) students. Our son is our family skeptic and fact-lover, surfer to the Urban Legends pages at snopes.com, and enjoyer of hoax exposes like the Oregon Vortex.
