Infants, Children Prefer Sounds Over Pictures And Only Slowly Become Visually Oriented, Studies Find

Infants and preschoolers have difficulty taking in both sight and sound, and in this study, they appeared to drawn to sound much more than pictures. During this important time of sound orientation then, one wonders, what happens if a child suffers recurrent ear infections?
