Gifted and Underachieving - A View from the Phillipines

We found this interesting tidbit from Asia. In "Discoverers", Root-Bernstein commented on the two different personality types of Nobel Prize-winning scientists. There the more factually-based incremental scientists and gestalt-conceptual "jumpers". When these personality traits are strong in gifted school-aged children, some changes in educational strategy may be necessary.
