Children with Apraxia of Speech - Later Reading and Spelling Difficulties

In this small study, all of the children who improved their articulation with speech therapy still developed reading and reading problems when assessed at age 8-10. We often see children discharged from speech therapy, but need reassessment a few years later when they fall behind their classmates in language learning.
